Alternating Maces with a Grab

Alternating Maces is against a push, if you do it by the book, but it also works very well against many types of grabs.

  1. Single lapel
  2. Double lapel
  3. Single wrist
  4. Double wrist

There are four just to name a few. Remember, just because a technique says that it’s against a certain attack, that doesn’t mean that it has to be done that way every time. Quite often, you can change the timing slightly, or something else simple like the target, and you’ll have a completely different technique. You have so many techniques in yellow belt alone if you explore all of them this way.
